Education
Danny started his journey to become a lawyer at the Schulich School of Business in 2006. There he obtained a degree in international business having the opportunity to study abroad for one year in the University of Bocconi in Milan. Danny decided to continue his international training in London, England, and obtained his LLB from the University of Queen Mary Law School. Not only did Danny receive top grades in his cohort, but he was captain of the university Football (aka Soccer) team. Shortly after, Danny pursued his LLM (Master’s) in International Business at Osgoode Hall law school at York University. Danny was successfully called to the Bar in 2014, and eager to put his skills to the test.
Work Experience
Danny stared his career working for a sole practitioner in Vaughan. There, he learned the intricacies of civil litigation, family law and construction lien from a seasoned veteran of 30+ years of experience. In his first 3 years of being a lawyer he completed 2 trials and has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court and Court of Appeal. It was during this time that Danny first worked with his brother, Gianluca Gurizzan, who was a summer student at the firm. Together the Gurizzan brothers would discover that they made the perfect team; brothers in law.
Gurizzan Law Professional Corporation
Not long after, Danny felt it was time to fulfill his lifelong dream of running his own law firm. On May 1, 2017, Gurizzan Law Professional Corporation opened its doors. Danny was not only able to open a litigation / family law practice but has expanded into Real Estate, Corporate and Wills and Estate. Danny prides himself on being a very efficient transactional lawyer.However, Danny still holds his passion in the courtroom where he raises fearlessly every issue, advances every argument and asks every question he believes will assist his client’s case.Danny has developed a variety of tools over his years of practice. He strives to fight for the legal rights of his clients but does so in a cost-effective manner. Danny encourages settlement where he believes it is in the best interest of the clients but ensures that his client obtained their legal remedies in the process.
